Acuity4 Survey is a fully self-contained system developed and optimized by Voxco exclusively for the particular requirements of Web surveys (CAWI). It features a web-based questionnaire scripting application supporting multiple question types, attractive page layout capabilities, integrated email management, its own survey database, reporting functions etc. Full documentation and online help for Acuity4 Survey is available online from within the application. It should be noted that the Command Center also has its own CAWI data collection (customization of the visual appearance of pages included), however the steps involved in setting up and customizing a Web survey can under certain situations be more involved than Acuity4 Survey. For this, and other reasons, it may sometimes be preferable to use an Acuity4 Survey module in place of a Command Center CAWI module. The advantages are summarized below; for the restrictions which apply see Acuity4 Survey Restrictions.
Device detection and mobile rendering
WCAG 2.0 AAA and Section 508 compliance (accessibility)
Integrated distribution service (Email, Facebook, Twitter, website popup)
More built-in question types : file upload, auto complete, Image area selector, star rating, etc.
More control over web survey look & feel
Client side skip logic to dynamically show/hide questions, grid rows and columns
Integrated panel with upcoming offline mobile application
Participation report with drop out analysis, daily tracking, etc.
Modern HTML markup
Documented secured REST API
Access to a Web oriented questionnaire design tool with instant preview
Integration of an A4S survey with a Command Center project is implemented by means of an Acuity4 Survey collection module. It enables you to incorporate a single A4S survey and its data into a Command Center project. You can choose an A4S that already exists, in which case data will be shared between questions (variables) sharing the same name. Alternatively, you can instruct the module to create one using the project’s default questionnaire to generate the A4S questionnaire and survey. The questionnaire will not be generated upon survey creation; the user needs to manually click the synchronize questionnaire link. Optionally, completed cases in the A4S survey can be made to count towards the project's quotas. Key features to note for this integration are:
The data from A4S survey questions is shared only with similarly named questions (variables) in the Command Center project's default questionnaire.
Command Center quotas can be shared and synchronized with A4S. See Acuity4 Survey collection module.
The specified A4S survey can be established in one of two ways. See Acuity4 Survey collection module:
Selection of an A4S survey that already exists.
Creation of an A4S survey when configuring the collection module. The system creates the A4S questionnaire by translating the Command Center's default questionnaire. Certain features of Command Center questionnaires are not supported in A4S, and are not translated, see Acuity4 Survey Restrictions. Note: Translation of an A4S questionnaire to a Command Center questionnaire is not supported.
The Acuity4 Survey system can be accessed directly from the Command Center's Main Menu.
Command Center cases are automatically created and updated when there are changes in the A4S survey.
Filtered cases in the Command Center's Browser can be pushed as sample to the A4S survey manually. See Browser Tools.
Call back rules can be configured to automatically transfer a case to the A4S survey. See Call-back Rules and Extended Call-back Rules.
Command Center users are synchronized with A4S to support single sign on. See User Lists.
