A Number Server, also known as a ServNo Server, is a service which runs one or more Predictive, Non-Predictiv, Hybrid and Manual Dialing module tasks. Its function is to gather telephone numbers from a project database, respecting all of the field management rules, quota/strata conditions etc., and to provide them to a Pronto Server for dialing. When the Pronto Server returns the results of its calls, the Number Server ensures that the appropriate callback rules are applied, and that the call results are written to the database.
A ServNo (Number) Server should be used if there are to be any automated dialing projects. The service provides the phone numbers to the Pronto Server's projects.
